Hurricane RINA on path to Cancun

The tropical storm RINA has developed into a hurricane Cat. 3 and is on it’s way to the coast of  the Yucatan peninsula. The popular tourist destinations Cancun and Playa del Carmen in the State of Quintana Roo may be the most affected area. The hurricane carries winds of  up to 120 miles per hour and heavy rainfalls.

At the moment there are round about 86,000 tourists vacationing along the Riviera Maya and authorities are doing their best to keep the tourists safe form the impact of this tropical storm.
